The Turkish European Business Centre Project (ABİGEM), which was established on the basis of cooperation between the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey (EUD), The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and individual Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry, is the most comprehensive project ever conducted by the European Union in Turkey.

The main objective of Hatay ABİGEM, which is one of a network of 19 ABIGEMs throughout Turkey, is to provide small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with professional training and consulting services to develop their potential to successfully compete on national and international markets.

                            

With its expert staff and consultant pool, Hatay ABİGEM’s goal is to become the first point of contact for SMEs seeking to contract business development services.

The following are some of the services offered by Hatay ABIGEM:

• Company-specific consulting services for SMEs
• Training and support programmes for start-up businesses
• Training courses on local and international market development, entrepreneurship, improvement of productivity, total quality management, strategic brand management,   internationalisation, etc.
• Access to finance
• Support in accessing grants from The European Union, World Bank, KOSGEB, Development Agencies, TKDK, and TÜBİTAK.
